USCIS Completes H1B Initial Electronic Registration Process

On March 30, 2021, USCIS announced that enough electronic registrations had been received during the initial H1B registration period to reach the FY2022 H-1B limit for both regular H-1B petitions and large ones. petitions. USCIS has notified all relevant petitions that they will be able to submit limited H1B petitions on behalf of the named beneficiary of each petition.

H1B candidates can now check their online accounts to see the status of their petitions. Their account will indicate whether USCIS received the petition and whether it was selected, rejected, or invalidated due to a failed payment.

Eligible applicants can petition on a specific subject for the FY2022 H1B cap starting April 1, 2021. Please note that an applicant can only file an H1B petition on behalf of the specified beneficiary of a valid selected H1B registration.
